Welcome to First Baptist Church, ANgleton, texas!

As followers of Jesus Christ, we are committed to worship God, and to serve Him by reaching, teaching, and caring for people.  We hope our site will help you learn more about the Lord, and about His work in and through First Baptist Church. And we'd love to meet you here soon!  You will find our address, contact info, and schedule of services at the bottom of this page:

  • The church office will be closed to the public during the COVID-19 quarantine. Staff will be in and out of the office to do essential work as needed. Please contact our ministerial staff or deacons if you have a need.

  • Maintaining our GIVING during this time is vital, to enable us to continue to pay our staff, support our missionaries, minister in our community, and finance our new facility.  Church members may mail your offerings to the church office at 237 E. Locust, Angleton, TX 77515 — OR click on the "Give Online" tab above, and follow the directions to give electronically.

We will try to be flexible, and communicate changes as events unfold.  But let us not fear. Let's trust God, pray each day, and watch for the opportunities He gives us to minister. Check on people. Run errands for those who can't. Share what you have. Remember: “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”! (II Timothy 1:7).

Love you all, and I am grateful to be your pastor in this time;

Bro. Shawn
