We are grateful for God's faithfulness in bringing Dr. Tim Pierce to First Baptist Church Angleton as our Pastor.

Since joining our church family in April 2026, Pastor Tim has faithfully led our congregation with a heart for God's Word, a love for people, and a passion for helping others grow in their walk with Christ. We are thankful for the leadership, encouragement, and vision he has brought to our church as we continue to seek God's direction together.

We also want to express our appreciation for Kristy as she serves alongside Pastor Tim. They have quickly become a valued part of our church family, and we are thankful for the way they have embraced our congregation and our community.

Please continue to pray for Pastor Tim and our church family as we seek to honor the Lord, grow together in faith, and share the hope of Christ with our community. We are grateful for God's faithfulness and excited about what He has planned for First Baptist Church Angleton.

Lauryn Mutina serves as the Children’s Ministry Director at First Baptist Church in Angleton. Born and raised in Angleton, Lauryn has always had a heart for this community and a passion for helping children grow in their walk with Jesus. She has been a member of First Baptist Church since 2017, and it has been a blessing for her to be part of this church family and continue serving here. Lauryn is married to her high school sweetheart, Mason, and together they have twin daughters. She is excited to serve alongside the families at FBC Angleton, whether it’s worshiping together or teaching children about the love of Jesus. Lauryn looks forward to all that God has in store for the church as they grow together in faith.

Starting out as a youth ministry intern at her home church, Melanie has been in ministry since May of 2019. She has a deep passion for teaching God's word to students and helping them build their faith to last beyond their time in student ministry.

Melanie's time serving in youth has led her to pursue a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Houston Christian University. She looks forward to combining her knowledge from school and ministry together as she continues to serve the body of Christ.

Melanie and her husband, Aaron, have been married since July of 2022. They spend their days at the pickleball court or playing with their dog, Winnie.

Jennifer joined the FBCA staff in June 2023, after dedicating 22 years to being a stay-at-home mom. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Nathan, their two adult children, Austin and Clarice, and their grandson, Aiden.
